At Danau Daun Chalets, there are many ways one could experience nature, from bathing in rivers to watching the sunset. You will be staying amongst the leaves and flowers, embracing the calmness of its surroundings.
Danau Daun Chalets is situated in Janda Baik, state of Pahang. It is located where thick and lush jungle thrives. Standing at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level, the temperature there can go as low as 22°C during nightfall and up to 28°C during the day. Thanks to the tropical winds, it helps to cool the surrounding area.
There are 5 chalets to choose from. Each chalet is equipped with dishes, cutlery and a barbecue pit.

How to get there
Traveling to Danau Daun Chalets is not difficult. You will need to take the Karak Highway, heading towards Bentong, either from Kuala Lumpur or Kuantan. The distance to the chalets are about 30 km from Kuala Lumpur. Depending on the traffic, the drive shouldn’t take longer than an hour. Janda Baik can be accessed from either Genting Sempah or Kampung Bukit Tinggi.
Kopi n Kraf is a cozy and relaxing cafe with a beautiful jungle ambience. Built upon the foundation of river rocks, a portion of the structure was originally a traditional Indonesian house transported here to Janda Baik from Indonesia.
The cafe serves a variety of Malaysian and Southeast Asian delights, which includes Chicken Kuzi from Kelantan, Nasi Lemak, Indonesian Soto, Cambodian Popiah and a variety of local and international coffee selections. In addition to food and beverages, there are Southeast Asian craftworks from Malaysia, Bali, Indonesia and Cambodia which are up for sale.
Kopi n Kraf is opened everyday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, except every Tuesday.
